Phatgurllove is a lover of words and sentences. Born in Raleigh, NC and raised in the small

town of Fuquay-Varina, writing has always been her way of expressing herself when she

was too afraid to do it aloud. Raised by two loving parents they encouraged her to perfect

her writing skills by reading…alot! During that time, she learned how to play with words and

had expanded her vocabulary that would leave her parents in awe of her writing ability.

Since then she has always know that she has the gift of being a skillful writer. She has been

keeping a diary since the age of 10 and has continued to share with others her unique way

of expressing herself through the written word.

Phatgurllove has won 2nd place in writing both fiction and non-fiction works with the Fuquay-

Varina Women’s Club and  has had poetry published in a local magazine. She believes in

encouraging other plus sized women by letting them know that she too is learning how to

accept herself and live her life to the fullest all while informing others that writing and reading

poetry can be therapy for them as well as aid them in learning how to self love. She is

currently working on her first book of poetry, due to be released in early 2010.
